Lesson Periods:
- These are usually completed in 2 hour lessons, sometimes they may be shorter, if this is the case then anytime not used is recorded. If and when an hour or more accumulates this becomes a FREE lesson.
- A member of the family may attend a lesson once the pupil has reached a competent level, normally I will ask if the pupil wishes a family member to attend to observe progress.
Syllabus of learning:
- The pupil will work through a number of key elements, each element has a score of 1 to 5, these are recorded each lesson, and the detailed progress report is available for viewing.
Payment for lessons:
- This is paid in advance or on the day, on the day must be agreed by myself.
- Amount is recorded in the master record. If a separate receipt is required please ask.
- Any funds or hourly credit left is used to match up with the day of the Practical Driving Test where possible.
Vehicle used:
- A modern training vehicle
- Dual controls
- Additional rear view mirror (instructors use)
- Blind spot mirrors
- Clean and presentable
Instructor:
- A highly qualified and experienced Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) as required by the Driving Standards Vehicle Agency (DVSA) not a Provisional Driving Instructor (PDI) as used by some companies.
Student must have:
- A provisional or fully qualified driving licence.
- Be able to read a vehicle number plate at 20.5m with or without glasses/contact lenses.
